Little Lakers

The Little Lakers had their last game today and finished the season undefeated. They played eight games in all this season and the scores were: 10-9, 18-7, 28-8, 18-12, 26-2, 14-10, 14-6, 15-12. It was great and Caleb learned a lot. I hope he wants to play again next year. Now it's time to get ready for baseball. Practice starts the first week of March. Caleb will be playing coach pitch this year and he is ready to get started.

100th Day of School!

Caleb's class celebrated the 100th day of school on Friday. All the kids dressed up like they where 100 years old. They did a lot of crafts so I went to the school dressed as Grandma Forbes. The kids had a bawl. Caleb's teacher Mrs. Smith was dressed up too. Some of the kids were convinced that it wasn't her. It was so much fun.

It was a little windy. I had to be sure to wear my scarf so I wouldn't mess up my hair.

Don't I look good with age spots, wrinkles, and lip stick on my teeth.

Basketball Update

I just wanted to give an update on Caleb's basketball. They are now 6-0. There are only three more games and it looks like they are going to finish the season undefeated. The game last weekend was their hardest game so far. That team was also undefeated. They won the game 14-10 and Caleb made his first basket in a game. He was so excited. I can't beleive that 5&6 year old are playing basketball at this level.

Giving the thumbs up after winning the game.

Guess who's pregnant?

No! It's not me, but I do get to be an Aunt twice this year. My brother and his wife are expecting in August and Matt's little brother and his soon to be wife are expecting in July. Wow! What a shock. I can't wait and I hope at least one of them have a girl. I really need to get my girl fix. I love my two boys, but there's nothing like looking at cute little dresses and outfits. Congratulations to both and we can't wait to see our little nieces or nephews.

Look who's three!

Silas had his 3 year visit today. He is 39" and weighed 35 lbs. Everything is going well and he is right on track for his age. He is in the 80%.

I thought I would add a picture of Caleb at the same age. Caleb was 41" and 39 lbs. at this age and was off the growth charts. He doesn't even look like a 3 year old in this picture.

Happy 3rd Birthday Silas!

Today we had Silas's birthday at my mom and dad's house. It is so hard to beleive he is already three years old. He is getting to be so big. We had hot dogs and chili. Silas wanted to have a Wall-e birthday, but we couldn't find the stuff so he settled for a Finding Nemo.

Christmas 2008

I hope everyone had a good Christmas. We sure did. We made all the rounds visiting family, opening presents and eating lots of good food. Both of the kids were old enough this year to really enjoy Christmas, but of course they were both sick. Silas had a double ear infection and Caleb had a cold. It didn't slow them down to much. My pictures are all out of order, but I hope you enjoy them.
